Eurovision 2023 results: Sweden's Loreen wins the song contest for a second time
― The Telegraph
The UK finishes second to bottom in a disappointing result. Sweden wins Eurovision with a massive 583 points, and popular rival Finland finished second with 526 points. Sweden's Loreen became only the second individual to ever win the competition more than once; she previously triumphed in 2012. The public vote did upend the standings somewhat - in particular, giving a big boost to Finland's wacky entry Cha Cha Cha, which was very popular with the venue's vocal audience. But it wasn't enough: when the final votes came in, Loreen hung onto her top spot. Subscribe to The Telegraph with our special offer: just £1 for 3 months.
