Pikkuli is used to being the smallest one in the family, having his way, and getting all the attention. Then, the Long-tail couple bring their adorable little Nestling into care with the Byrds. Pikkuli is boiling with anger, as the rest of the family seems to notice only Nestling and let him/her have his/her way. When no one else is around, and Daddy who had been reading to Pikkuli and Nestling is asleep, Pikkuli is about to push the annoying little Nestling out of the nest! But then, Nestling notices Marten that is attacking the nesting tree. Pikkuli and Nestling manage to chase the Marten away together. And finally, Nestling is even in Pikkuli’s eyes rather cute and nice.
