FINALLY a video. Been quite hectic month with the move and all the tinkering and setting things up and all but I finally did manage to put at least something together. But firstly, video resolution. After getting an actual monitor, I was able to ramp up the video resolution from 1080p to 1440p legitimately (instead of doing something like a cheap uscaling), BUT, it caused a new issue. For some reason, when I tried exporting at 60FPS slowed down the video, or just the image to be exact, while the audio worked perfectly. And after bashing my head against a wall for half a day, I decided to take the next best option I had: 1440p @ 50FPS. Yes yes, it's less than 60, but I'll see what I can do about it in the next video. I was able to narrow the problem down to being an issue in the codecs when trying to export the video, but couldn't figure out what and why it was. Though this does open up a possibility (or necessity) for trying out new video editors... As for other stuff that has been going on, the absurd heat has put quite a strain on me, just like on everyone else, and doing things by myself has been quite taxing. And trying to make my new apartment nice in general has been slow. I spent a week trying to look for a turf rug that would fit in my balcony. Why I turf rug? Because I want one.
