(Subtitled in English) Ruotsin, Suomen ja Norjan ilmavoimat järjestävät neljännen monikansallisen Arctic Challenge Excercise -harjoituksen 22. toukokuuta - 4. kesäkuuta. ACE 19 on eräs vuoden suurimmista lentotoimintaharjoituksista Euroopassa. Harjoitukseen osallistuu yli sata ilma-alusta yhdeksän eri maan asevoimista. Monitoimihävittäjien lisäksi mukana on kuljetus- ja yhteyskoneita, ilmatankkauskoneita, valvonta- ja taistelunjohtokoneita sekä kuljetus- ja pelastushelikoptereita. Isäntämaiden lisäksi harjoitukseen osallistuvat Alankomaat, Iso-Britannia, Ranska, Saksa, Tanska, Yhdysvallat sekä NATO AWACS-johtokeskuskoneella. Harjoituksen johtaa tänä vuonna Ruotsin ilmavoimat. The Swedish, Finnish and Royal Norwegian Air Forces will host the fourth multinational Arctic Challenge Exercise from 22 May to 4 June 2019. The Arctic Challenge Exercise (ACE) 19 is among Europe's largest live air exercises. More than one hundred aircraft from nine nations’ defence forces will take part in the exercise. In addition to multi-role fighters, transport and liaison aircraft, aerial refuelling tankers, airborne warning and control system aircraft, as well as transport and search & rescue helicopters will be seen in the exercise. Apart from the host nations, ACE 19 will see participation by the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Denmark, the United States, and NATO with its AWACS aircraft. This year the exercise will be commanded by the Swedish Air Force. The Exercise Director in Finland, Colonel Antti Koskela tells about the exercise aims and objectives and the Commander of the Fighter Squadron 11 tells what’s new in the exercise this year.
