Suomen 100-vuotisjuhlavuoden itsenäisyyspäivän valtakunnallinen paraati järjestettiin 6. joulukuuta Kuopiossa. Paraatin järjestämisvastuussa oli ilmavoimat ja siihen osallistui 1100 henkilöä, 48 ajoneuvoa ja 41 ilma-alusta. Suomen itsenäisyyden juhlavuoden paraatin ohjelmanumeroihin kuului muun muassa Hornet-monitoimihävittäjän esillepano kalustonäyttelyyn Kuopion torille sekä historiallinen 15 Hornetin Suomi 100 -ylilentomuodostelma. Puolustusvoimien Combat Camera -ryhmä seurasi paraatia itsenäisyyspäivän aaton valmisteluvaiheesta juhlapäivän paraatikatselmukseen ja ohimarssiin asti. On December 6th 2017 Finland celebrated the 100th anniversary of becoming an independent state. The annual Independence Day National Parade 2017 of the Finnish Air Force was held in Kuopio. This year the event was organized by the Finnish Air Force. Altogether 1,100 persons, 48 vehicles and 41 aircraft took part in the parade. The national parade of Finland’s centenary included some special events such as a Finland 100 special formation flypast by Finnish Air Force F/A-18 multi-role fighters and a static display of a F/A-18 at the main square of the city of Kuopio.
