Puolustusvoimat osallistui Norjan puolustusvoimien johtamaan Cold Response 2022 -harjoitukseen Pohjois-Norjassa Narvikin-Bardufossin-alueella 18.3.-2.4.2022. Harjoitus kehitti Suomen kansallista puolustuskykyä ja yhteistyötä Ruotsin ja Norjan kanssa. Harjoitukseen osallistui Puolustusvoimista noin 680 henkilöä, joista 470 oli varusmiehiä ja 30 reserviläisiä. Pääosa joukoista koostui Maavoimien valmiusyksiköistä, joilla on kyky toimia vaativissa taistelutehtävissä uusimmilla suorituskyvyillä. Suomalainen taisteluosasto toimi harjoituksessa osana ruotsalais-suomalaista prikaatia maiden välisen yhteisoperaatiokyvyn kehittämiseksi. Prikaati toimi harjoituksessa ensimmäistä kertaa Norjan maavoimien alaisuudessa. #maavoimat #kvyhteistyö #fise #senofi – The Finnish Defence Forces participated in the exercise Cold Response 2022 organised by the Norwegian Armed Forces in the area of Narvik–Bardufoss in Northern Norway from 18 March to 2 April 2022. Participation in the exercise was developing national defence capability, bilateral cooperation with Norway as well as defence cooperation with Sweden. The exercise was participated by altogether 680 personnel in total from the Finnish Defence Forces, of whom c. 470 were conscripts and 30 reservists. The majority of the training audience units to attend were Army readiness units with sustained competence for operating on demanding combat missions. In the exercise, a Finnish battle group operated as part of a Swedish brigade to develop interoperability between the countries.
