Did you know that Santa Claus has roots in the Åland archipelago? 🎅 The image of the happy and chubby Santa Claus dressed in red that has been starring in Coca-Cola advertising since the 1930s was drawn by the artist Haddon Sundblom whose father came from the island of Föglö in Åland. Now Coca-Cola’s Christmas truck has visited Åland to mark the popular Santa Claus’s Ålander heritage.
