Now, I know Max Payne isn't exactly a modern game, but it is one of my all time favorite gaming franchises so here we go. 1996, because Max Payne already was looking pretty similar to the final version in 98. So, let's pretend Max Payne was released in 1996 for the PS1. This is not a real game, but an animation made in a 3d creation software called Blender. There is no actual gameplay or coding involved.
