Cats of Transnistria is a Helsinki based duo of Tuomas Alatalo and Henna Emilia Hietamäki. They create slow and hypnotic music, filled with both experimental noise and lots of sensitivity and softness. Good Night was one of the first songs that the Cats of Transnistria started to play. For a long time the song’s working title was “The Fog Song”. It’s an alliance of a hypnotic tremolo guitar, soft organ walls and dreamy, longing vocals. “The song is about the beautiful details one should think about when trying to get some sleep.
