SUORAAN SEINÄÄN (Directly on the Wall) - Group exhibition in MUU Cable, Helsinki Second day of working 5 March, 2014. Talking with Sirkku Ala-Harja, Elliina Peltoniemi and Hans-Peter Schütt. Video documentation: Marja Helena Kinnunen Open to audience: 7--30 March 2014 Directly on the Wall is no ordinary exhibition. The works are painted directly on the walls of the gallery, and the making will continue throughout the exhibition period. Artists who approach painting each in their own way, work together live in a situation that combines graffiti and calligraphy, abstract and figurative art on one and the same support. In the course of the exhibition, the individual paintings will build up into a single, continuously mutating, complex process. The event gives the audience an opportunity to see artists at work and follow how the paintings develop and live in the gallery.
