First look to Falling Skies the Game, a tactical strategy RPG based on Falling Skies TV series. Game is to be released on September 30 to XBox 360, PS3 and PC, published by Little Orbit. The game combines the setting and characters from the series to XCOM-like tactical and strategy gameplay. The plot of the game takes place after the third season of the series. To me, the game looks a bit rough around the edges, but with the setting of the series and XCOM-like gameplay, it has potential despite the slightly outdated looks. I haven't done (promotional) videos like this before, even that I get asked a lot, but I wanted to give it a shot as a fan of the Falling Skies TV series (and XCOM). I hadn't heard about the game before and I'm guessing many of you haven't either, so I wanted to share information about this game. Should I do more of this kind of videos if I have the time between the regular LPs? ======== Based on Falling Skies, the popular TNT sci-fi series, Falling Skies: The Game is set in a world devastated by Espheni aliens. Following the destruction of an Espheni tower at the end of season 3, the 2nd Mass stumble across the wreckage of an ambushed convoy. Among the survivors is an engineer who claims he can create a powerful weapon that may level the playing field in the fight against the Espheni invaders, but it will require the 2nd Mass to undertake several risky operations to collect all the components.
