The Finnish Film Affair is an initiative of the Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy offering an industry sidebar to the festival. The event is a showcase of Finnish films and a networking platform for attending industry professionals. The country’s main film industry event takes place yearly in a welcoming and laid-back but highly efficient and professional setting. Attending sales agents, distributors, festival programmers, TV buyers, and representatives of the press have an opportunity to get to know to the latest and upcoming Finnish feature films and documentaries. Approximately 300 film industry professionals from Finland and abroad are expected to attend. The fifth edition of the Finnish Film Affair will take place in Helsinki for three days in the end of September, from September 20 to 22, 2016.
