This is making its rounds right now. I thought I’d film myself reading what Riika Purra is coming under fire for saying. This situation added fuel to an already heated situation. On the one hand, people DID vote for this government because there are issues they want addressed. Issues they felt was not being addressed in the previous administration. It was done democratically. So they feel frustrated by all this and believe the left is trying to use this as a way to undermine democracy. Then on the other side, you have people who feel that their fears have been confirmed. That the new government is indeed “racist” and their push for immigration reform comes from place xenophobia and hate. Yup, it’s wild. What do I think? If you’re going to run for office, you need to know that people will come after you. They will look at your past. I don’t understand how politicians don’t realise this. Either come clean early on or don’t say that sort of shit on the internet. Now the country is even more divided politically. Let’s see how things go. Finland is my adopted home and I love this place. The culture, the people and all that. I’m sure all of you who have been following me for a while know this. I really hope Finland finds a good way to push through this! It is a beautiful country that could be a beacon to the world. #finland #nordic #mythoughts
