A spectral music application where the soundscape of an island is analyzed and the frequencies are turned into music. The music is not constrained to any musical system, so the resulting piece is an authentic representation of the original sound's frequency spectra. It's ambient from ambient. The real time piece was presented as a part of La-Bas -biennale in Helsinki. April 2012, at Akusmata sound art gallery. The visitor could change the balance of the original sound and the music with a big crossfader, and the space was illuminated with black light.
