Ruuvi Gateway Range Test

We completed the range tests with several RuuviTag Bluetooth sensors and Ruuvi Gateway units. The devices were approximately 3,5 meters height from the lake level. During the test coded PHY BT 5 long range protocol was used on some of the units, but actually we didn't notice any better range compared to standard RuuviTags without the long range broadcast abilities. To being able to achieve better ranges than the one on the video, transmitters and receivers would need to be positioned higher from the lake level (more than 6 meters). (!) Note that this is an open air test.
