Valve 2014 disturbance exercise took place in Rovaniemi September 23th 2014. It tested the capacity of authorities and companies to restore electricity after a major disturbance. The exercise ensured that electricity could be restored using northern Finland's hydroelectricity if neighbouring Sweden was unable to provide starting electricity.
