Electric cars are becoming more and more ubiqutious. They challenge the set up of the nation- wide grid. Fingrid actively influences the electric car business in Finland by studying flexible ways to integrate the electric cars into the electricity system. The cars could be used to increase certain reserves by feeding back power into the system. Fingrid’s leading expert Risto Lindroos shares some of his visions.
