A COMCAM soldier films, photographs, and fights with the unit they are embedded in, so that the Defence Forces can utilize the material. COMCAM is a strong part of information warfare. COMCAM soldiers are professionals in the media field, who receive diverse military training. Combat Camera recruits 6-10 Conscripts per year to fulfill their national service in one of the most challenging service branches. When mustered out the conscripts are placed in the reserves, with Combat Camera as their war time role.
