FoodAfrica: Climatic stresses on crop and livestock agriculture in Senegal

Luke-coordinated FoodAfrica Programme is a research and development Programme enhancing food security in West and East Africa. The programme will come to an end in the autumn of 2018. In this video, you will learn about some of the work done in the programme in Senegal. The project team used a concept of theater forum as means of communicating some key messages from the research work on groundwater management in the costal Niayes region of Senegal. The theater forum format also helped getting feedback from the audience about their perspective and experiences and gave them a chance to propose new ideas and solutions to the problems posed by the dramatized scenes.
