JYUSCIENCE: Together to new heights

The Faculty of Mathematics and Science #jyuscience is the biggest and most international faculty at the University of Jyväskylä #JYUnity. The research in the faculty is influential and multidisciplinary. We find solutions to big questions in science especially in the fields of evolution research, mathematical analysis, multidisciplinary nanoscience, resource wisdom and subatomic physics. We provide researchers with an attractive research career and the conditions to develop to a high international level scientists. For our students the faculty offers inspiring learning environment and an opportunity to work with leading academics. We educate students to use our internationally competitive infrastructure. With our Master’s degree in Finnish we have four excellent Master's Degree Programmes in English in biological and environmental science, mathematics, nanoscience and nuclear and particle physics.
