Our game for Global Game Jam 2011. The theme was extiction. Instead of using pictures of baby pandas or polar bears we decided to make digital lifeforms that would be different in each game, and go extinct when the program is closed or when the environment in the game becomes too harsh. They move around, feed and breed, guided by a simple AI that is also different for each species. The goal is to keep the creatures alive as long as possible by guiding them to food and away from the expanding toxic. Platform is Windows Phone 7, but we will also offer a PC version of the game at some point. A better quality version of the video with sound is underway.
