Žanr is generally performative art, after that Circus performance and lastly dance performance. What makes Sabotage different from theatre or dance performance is the possibility to work on different dimensions. Move across the stage, throw each other higher and hang under the sealing. Performance is inspired by Henry Fusei painting Nightmare. Sound design: Magnus Larsson http://www.kontraproduktion.se Performance length: 45 minute (Recommended audience 7+) Sabotage is black box show where gender politics have been brought closer to people. Often there is discussed, what makes us different, but not what is shared. Performance is exploring what makes us similar and how does different bodies work. Could not deny that circus has strong masculine traits, but show highlights the gentle, beautiful and fragile aspects. Created a world where labels of women and man are disassembled. For one moment, the universe created, leaves space just for a happy entity. Where every individual can be as they feel necessary for the task at hand. They deal with unity and simplicity, a whole is made in unison ,where the whole picture emerges after getting sense of the bigger picture. Second topic addressed is what are bodies capable of. Show is showing trough physical movement and actions that working together makes everything become possible. They position their bodies in extreme situations to later solve in unison. Either it is lifting up a body twice as big as your own or how to levitate 3 meters from the ground ? Lastly the performance is built as a puzzle, leaving the audience to wonder how much of it is really happening and what is fake? It is performing art piece filled with propositions and visually stimulation images. Sabotage creates a world where actions become a dance between tension and release. Finally SaboK brings to a stage new circus discipline called the nest.
