OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS: PERFORMANCE VOYAGE 6 Application deadline: 30 June 2015 Produced by the Artists’ Association MUU: PERFORMANCE VOYAGE 6 - A Series of international Video Performances Theme: Future / Tomorrow The theme Future / Tomorrow invites artists to explore the day and time that always lies ahead, to seek that which is yet to come, whether a promise of hope or dystopian despair. How do we see the future, what are our hopes, fears and expectations? Share your vision of the future – it may be a literal tomorrow, the world of 2050, or somewhere and sometime unimaginably distant. • Artists’ Association MUU announces an open call to artists to submit video performances to the international PERFORMANCE VOYAGE 6 event. • The deadline for submissions is 30 June 2015! • The premiere of the selection will take place in the beginning of 2016. The works will go on a worldwide tour in 2016. The first Performance Voyage (2011) was a selection of performances created for the camera. It was published in conjunction with the Performance 2011 Festival organised by MUU as part of the official programme of the Turku 2011 Capital of Culture year. The second Performance Voyage (2012) was a selection of video documentations of performances. The theme of the third collection (2013) was sound and body. The 2014 compilation consisted of video performances under the theme self-portrait. The theme of the fifth collection in 2015 was Domestic.
